iTero Intraoral Scanner
Back in the day, taking impressions of your teeth was a bit of a pain. You’d have to bite down on a strange putty-like substance. This process isn’t the most comfortable, so at Badea Dental, we provide a better alternative that’s much more comfortable for you while still providing excellent results.
The iTero Intraoral Scanner is a dental technology that takes digital impressions of your gums and teeth. First, the dentist uses a small wand tool to scan over your teeth. This wand then transmits data and images to a computer system, creating throughout and accurate 3D scans of your mouth.
CEREC Same-Day Dental Crowns
CEREC dental crowns are another digital dental technology that allows for more efficient and comfortable dental experience. While traditional dental crowns take a couple of visits, CEREC systems allow you to get a finished crown in just one visit to our office.
CEREC also uses 3D scanning technology to get a digital image of your teeth, removing the need for traditional impressions.
Once impressions are made of your mouth using this fully digital system, a design software uses special materials to print out a crown customized just for you.
